A & S — The soul of Genoa, from marble to sea salt

Photography · Martina Brui Film · Michael Bagnoli 79 frames

Genoa is a city of vertical contrasts, where the aristocratic majesty of historic palaces plunges abruptly into the deep blue of the Mediterranean. For their vows, A and S chose to live both of these souls, in a journey that carried their guests from the monumental heart of the city to the breath of the sea.

The elegance of marble: Palazzo Tursi

The ceremony took place in the courtyard of Palazzo Tursi, in the heart of Via Garibaldi. Among marble columns and monumental staircases, the atmosphere was steeped in a timeless solemnity. The light, filtering from above, caressed the details of A's lace dress, creating a play of light and shadow that seemed to come straight out of a period painting.

A secret sanctuary on the coast

After the solemnity of the ceremony, the rhythm of the day changed. We moved to a private villa hidden along the coast, a sanctuary of peace where the scent of maritime pines mixed with the sea salt. Here, far from the noise of the city, dinner was a hymn to Ligurian conviviality, with tables set just steps from the waves.

The sea has no roads, the sea has no explanations. It is an infinite embrace.

To the rhythm of the waves

The most magical moment was, without doubt, the sunset. A and S went down to the villa's private cliff, where the sun painted the water with golden and orange reflections. In that moment, between the sound of the surf and the light wind, we captured the essence of their love: wild, pure, and deeply connected to the land — and the sea — they call home.
