C & J — An American love affair under the baroque sky
Naples is not just a city; it is a visceral emotion that overwhelms you the moment you step onto its thousand-year-old stones. For C and J, arriving from the United States, Naples was the canvas on which they painted the most important chapter of their lives.
The sacred baroque
The ceremony took place in the majestic Duomo di Napoli. Under the golden vaults and the imposing dome, the contrast was sublime: the young, vibrant energy of an American couple immersed in the solemnity of a cathedral that has witnessed centuries of history.
A banquet on the waterfront
From the sacredness of the Duomo we moved into the blinding light of the gulf. Naples does not do restraint: the reception took the noise, the food and the sea and made no attempt to tidy any of it. That was the point.
